FAQs
What are the benefits of working with an Interior Designer?
Hiring a designer isn’t just about making things look good, it’s about making your space work better for how you live. I help you avoid costly mistakes, save time and make confident decisions. From layout to lighting to finding the right sofa, I bring experience, resources and a clear plan so you can enjoy the process and as well as the results.
How involved do I need to be in the design process?
I work with lots of time-poor professionals, so my process is designed to be smooth and efficient. You’ll be involved at key stages like signing off on design concepts or approving selections but I handle the behind-the-scenes detail so you don’t have to. Whether you want to be hands-on or hands-off, I’ll adapt to suit your schedule.
How do you approach budget and pricing?
I know talking about money can feel awkward, but it’s actually one of the first things we cover, openly and honestly. I’ll give you a clear idea of costs upfront so you can make confident decisions. No surprises, just good planning.
Every project is different, so I tailor my pricing to fit the scope and your needs. All of this will be outlined in your personalised Design Proposal before committing.
Can you work with my existing furniture and accessories?
Absolutely! I love incorporating your existing pieces into the new design, it really helps make that space feel truly yours and reflects your journey.
Do you handle all the shopping and sourcing for materials and furniture?
Yes, as part of The Bespoke Design pack I can manage sourcing, purchasing and coordinating deliveries to make the process seamless for you. Within The Digital Design Lab pack I leave the purchasing up to you, to take on at your own pace.
What if I’m unsure about my style?
No problem! Part of my job is to help you discover and refine your style, and work with that to create a space you love.
How do I know I’ll like the final design?
Design is a collaborative process. I invest time at the start to really understand your style, goals and how you want your space to feel. Then with each touchpoint we will slowly refine the design based off your feedback to ensure you are happy with the direction and final result. You’ll see mood boards, concepts and clear visuals before anything is final. My aim is to create something that feels just right for you, not just to reproduce something that’s already been done.
